How to avail this facility

BARODA M-CONNECT PRODUCT FEATURE:

Bank of Baroda offers you BARODA M-CONNECT, the most convenient and secure way to bank on the move 24X7.  BARODA M-CONNECT is a banking application that can be downloaded on your mobile phone and can be used to conduct banking transactions in your Bank of Baroda account using your registered mobile phone. With BARODA M-CONNECT you can access account information, transfer funds, pay utility bills, recharge mobile, do airline/movie ticketing and many more. .

HOW TO AVAIL THIS FACILITY:

To avail the Mobile Banking facility, simply perform the following three steps:

  • Registration
  • Software Download
  • Installation / Activation

(a) REGISTRATION THROUGH ATM

Customer can visit bank’s ATM / Branch to register for BARODA M-CONNECT services

(A) Mobile Banking Registration on ATM:

Step 1 : Customer walks into the Bank of Baroda ATM

Step 2 : Customer inserts/dips ATM card in the ATM

Step 3 : ATM prompts the Customer to enter ATM  PIN

Step 4 : After successful validation, customer selects M-Connect (Mobile Banking) > Registration option available  in the Menu

Step 5 : ATM prompts the Customer to enter his/her Mobile number on which the service is required.

Step 6 : Customer should enter 10 digit Mobile numbers and selects <Confirm> button.

Step 7 : ATM prompts the Customer to re-confirm the Mobile number

Step 8 : Customer re-enters the same 10 digit Mobile number and  <Confirm>

Step 9 : If the Customer entered details found valid then ATM displays “Your Mobile Number Registered successfully”

Step 10 : If the customer details found invalid, then ATM Displays “Registration Failure” and customer to follow correct process/ contact branch.

Step 12 : After successful registration, Customer receives SMS on registered   Mobile containing Mobile Application URL link for downloading the software, Application password and mPIN.

Step 13 : If the customer Mobile handset is enabled for GPRS/EDGE/3G, customer can download the application by clicking the URL link available in the SMS message.

OR

Customer can visit website www.bankofbaroda.com and download the Mobile Banking application suitable for their handset to a PC/ laptop and then transfer the application to desired Mobile phone using Data Cable or Bluetooth or Infrared.

(b) MOBILE BANKING REGISTRATION AT BRANCH

Step 1: Please visit your branch

Step 2: Submit request on the prescribed application form for registration (Application form can be downloaded by clicking here).

Step 3: After successful registration, Customer receives SMS to his Mobile  containing Mobile Application URL link for downloading the software, Application password and mPIN.

Step 4: If the customer Mobile handset is enabled for GPRS/EDGE/3G, customer can download the application by clicking the URL link available  in the SMS message.

OR

Customer can visit our website www.bankofbaroda.com and download the Mobile Banking application suitable for their handset to a PC/ laptop and then transfer the Mobile Banking application to desired Mobile phone using Data Cable or Bluetooth or Infrared


A) DOWNLOADING MOBILE APPLICATION USING GRPS/EDGE/3G ON MOBILES

Pre-Requisite:

  1. Mobile phone
  2. GPRS/EDGE/3G Facility activated on the phone.
  3. Mobile handset should have memory of around 1MB free.

Mobile handset should support GPRS/EDGE/3G facility and should be enabled/subscribed by the customer from the respective Mobile Operator to download software.


Steps to Download & Install Mobile Banking Application

Step 1:    Please check whether you are able to browse any Internet website If Yes, please proceed with the next step, otherwise please consult your Mobile operator to have this facility enabled on your phone.

Step 2:    Select the application link from the SMS received, Mobile handset will connect to Website to download the  application.

Step 3:    Select the Mobile Communication mode as “GSM” Option.

Step 4:    Mobile handset displays the Server, Type, Size details with <Open>, <Save> and <Cancel> option

Step 5:    Select <Save> to allow downloading the Mobile Banking software.

Step 6:    Mobile handset will prompt to confirm and save the mobile application with default file name, folder, type in non-editable mode, storage location in drop down list.

Step 7:    Select <save> button to download the Mobile Banking software.

Step 8:    Please wait till the application is downloaded fully, then click <OK> to close the download page.



(B) DOWNLOADING MOBILE BANKING APPLICATION FROM WEBSITE

Pre-Requisite:

  • PC/Laptop with Internet connection for downloading Mobile Banking software.

Download the Mobile Banking application from the Website to Desktop PC/Laptop, and then it can be  transferred to designated Mobile by using Data Cable

Bluetooth

Download the Mobile Banking application from the Website to Desktop PC/Laptop, and then it can be transferred to mobile by using Bluetooth option. Please note that PC / Laptop should have Bluetooth facility

Infrared

Download the Mobile Banking application from the Website to Desktop PC/Laptop, and then it can be transferred to mobile by using Infrared option. Please note that PC / Laptop should  have Infrared facility

Steps to Download Mobile Banking Application

Step 1 : Visit  website www.bankofbaroda.com

Step 2 : Select Mobile Banking link on the web site.

Step 3 : Select the Mobile Application download menu.

Step 4 : Select the Mobile handset Model from the “Model Type” list

Step 5 : Select the Mobile handset Model Category

Step 6 : Accept the Terms and Conditions checkbox and click <Download> button

Step 7 : Click “Please click here to download” link to start downloading the application

Step 8 : When prompted <Open>, <Save> and <Cancel> option while downloading, Select <Save> option to save the Mobile application in your PC/Laptop.


C ) Steps to Transfer Mobile Application from PC/Laptop using Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared to Mobile

Requirements:

  1. PC or Laptop with Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared Device enabled

  2. Mobile handset with

    • Sufficient memory
    • Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared

Step 1:    Customer has to connect the Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared Device in PC/Laptop

Step 2:    Enable Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared Device in PC and Mobile phone

Step 3:    Customer mobile has to paired with PC/Laptop Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared Device

Step 4:    After Successful pairing, PC/Laptop will navigate to Mobile shared folder option

Step 5:    Paste the downloaded Mobile application files to designated mobile.

Step 6:    After copying successfully, disconnect the Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared and proceed next step

Step 7:    Now please follow the MOBILE BANKING APPLICATION INSTALLATION procedure

 

For Installation / Activation please refer Installation Manual as per specifications of Mobile handset


MOBILE BANKING APPLICATION LOGIN

 

Step 1:    Select the Mobile application file from Application/Games/Download Folder and Click Open to start the application

Step 2:    Select First Time User and Click <Ok> option:

Step 3:    Please provide the following inputs one by one while First Time login and Click <Ok> option

  • Enter Mobile Application Password which was received through SMS
  • Enter new Mobile Application password.

Step 4:    After successful activation, user will be prompted to change mPIN received in SMS during registration.

 

 

Step 5:    Please provide the following inputs for changing the mPIN and Click <Ok> option:

  • mPIN which was received through SMS
  • New mPIN
  • Confirm new mPIN

 

Step 6:    On successfully changing the mPIN, now Mobile Banking Main Menu will open successfully
