HOW TO AVAIL THIS FACILITY

BARODA M-CONNECT PRODUCT FEATURE:
Bank of Baroda offers you BARODA M-CONNECT, the most convenient and a secure way to bank on the move 24X7. BARODA M-CONNECT is a banking application that can be downloaded on your mobile phone and can be used to conduct banking transactions in your Bank of Baroda account using your registered mobile phone. With BARODA M-CONNECT you can access account information, transfer funds, recharge mobile.

To avail the Mobile Banking facility, simply perform the following three steps:

 (A) REGISTRATION THROUGH ATM

Step 1: Walk into any Bank of Baroda ATM
Step 2: Inserts/Dip ATM card in the ATM
Step 3: ATM prompts to enter ATM PIN
Step 4: After successful validation, Select M-Connect (Mobile Banking) Registration option available in the Menu.
Step 5: Enter your 10 digit mobile number registered with the Bank,when prompted by the ATM and press OK, if correct.
Step 6: Again enter the same 10 digit Mobile number and select Confirm button.
Step 7: On successful validation, ATM will display “Your Mobile Number Registered successfully”
Step 8: If the customer details found invalid, then ATM will display “Registration Failure” and customer to follow correct process/ contact branch.
Step 9: After successful registration, Customer receives SMS on registered   mobile number containing Mobile Application URL link for downloading the software, and Application password and mPIN.
Step 10: For Android/ Windows / Blackberry / Iphones, software must be downloaded from respective app store only.

(B) REGISTRATION AT BRANCH

Step 1: Please visit your branch
Step 2: Submit request on the prescribed application form for registration (Application form can be downloaded by clicking here).
Step 3: After successful registration, Customer receives SMS to his Mobile containing Mobile Application URL link for downloading the software, Application password and mPIN within 24hrs.
Step 4: For Android/ Windows / Blackberry / Iphones, software must be downloaded from respective app store only.

SOFTWARE DOWNLOADING PROCESS:


A) DOWNLOADING BARODA M-CONNECT USING GPRS/EDGE/3G ON MOBILES


Pre-Requisite:

  1. Mobile phone
  2. GPRS/EDGE/3G Facility activated on the phone.
  3. Mobile handset should have memory of around 1MB free.

Mobile handset should support GPRS/EDGE/3G facility and should be enabled/subscribed by the customer from the respective Mobile Operator to download software.

Steps to Download & Install Mobile Banking Application

Step 1:  Please check whether you are able to browse any Internet website If Yes, please proceed with the next step,  otherwise please consult your Mobile operator to have this facility enabled on your phone.
Step 2:  Select the application link from the SMS received, Mobile handset will connect to Website to  download the application.
Step 3:  Select the Mobile Communication mode as “GSM” Option.
Step 4: Select the Mobile Platform between “JAVA”, “For Android/ Windows / Blackberry / Iphones, software must be downloaded from respective app store only.”.
Step 5:   

Select Keyboard Type as “FULL KEYBOARD” or “PARTIAL KEYBOARD”

Step 6: Mobile handset will prompt to confirm and save the Baroda M-Connect application
Step 7:  Select <save> button to download the Mobile Banking software.

(B) DOWNLOADING BARODA M-CONNECT FROM WEBSITE

Pre-Requisite:

  • PC/Laptop with Internet connection for downloading Baroda M-Connect software.

Download the Mobile Banking application from the Website to Desktop PC/Laptop, and then it can be  transferred to designated Mobile by using Data Cable

Bluetooth

Download the Mobile Banking application from the Website to Desktop PC/Laptop, and then it can be transferred to mobile by using Bluetooth option. Please note that PC / Laptop should have Bluetooth facility

i)  Steps to Download Mobile Banking Application

Step 1 : Visit  website www.bankofbaroda.com
Step 2 : Select Mobile Banking link on the web site.
Step 3 : Select the Mobile Application download menu.
Step 4 : Select the Mobile handset Model from the “Model Type” list
Step 5 : Select the Mobile handset Model Category
Step 6 : Click on the link and select Save File to start downloading the application


ii) Steps to Transfer Mobile Application from PC/Laptop using Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared to Mobile

Requirements :

  1. PC or Laptop with Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared Device enabled
  2. Mobile handset with
    • Sufficient memory
    • Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared

Step 1 : Customer has to connect the Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared Device in PC/Laptop
Step 2 : Enable Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared Device in PC and Mobile phone
Step 3 : Customer mobile has to paired with PC/Laptop Bluetooth/Data Cable/Infrared Device
Step 4 : After Successful pairing, PC/Laptop will navigate to Mobile shared folder option
Step 5 : Paste the downloaded Mobile application files to designated mobile.


BARODA M-CONNECT ACTIVATION
Step 1 :
  
Select the Mobile application file from Application/Games/Download Folder and Click Open to start the application
Step 2 : Select New User and Click <Ok> option:

 

Step 3 :
  

Please provide the following inputs one by one while First Time login and Click <Ok> option

  • Enter Mobile Application Password which was received through SMS
  • Re- enter new password in "confirm password".

Step 4 :
  

After successful activation, user will be prompted to change mPIN received in SMS during registration.

Step 5 :
  

Please provide the following inputs for changing the mPIN and Click <Ok> option:

  • mPIN which was received through SMS
  • New mPIN
  • Confirm new mPIN
Step 6 : On successfully changing the mPIN, now Mobile Banking Main Menu will open successfully.
