"Bank of Baroda was one of the early movers in Public Sector Banks to have tapped the equity market in December 1996. Further the Bank has come out with a "Follow on Public Offer" in January 2006, Preferential allotment to Government of India and LIC of India in March 2011, March 2012 and March 2013. At present, out of the total equity capital of Rs. 421.26 Crore, the “Public Shareholding” is as large as 44.59%, which is held by Retail Investors, Employees, Banks and Financial Institutions, FIIs and NRIs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies and Others.”
